2.1 Overview
IPC627D OEM industrial PC with:
● Intel processors
● Intel HD graphics for high graphics performance
● SATA hard disks with up to 500 GB capacity
The following are integrated in the machine control panels:
● A CNC keyboard
● Operator controls for the machine control system
● Five customer-specific keys
The milling version of the machine control panel differs from the turning version in the following
characteristics:
● Different key inscriptions
● A rapid traverse override rotary switch is integrated instead of a handwheel
● Additional slot for "Clamp tool" key
Communication
● Industrial Ethernet / PROFINET PN
– NCU ⇔ machine control panel
– Machine control panel ⇔ industrial PC
● USB
– CNC keyboard of the machine control panel ⇔ monitor
– Monitor ⇔ industrial PC
Note
The industrial PC must already be switched on when the NCU runs up.
An overview of the communication of the individual components can be found in Section
Connection (Page 39).
Power supply
The individual components must be supplied with 24 VDC.
