44. Secure the 12-pin connectors and 8-pin connectors
to the harness case with two wire ties.
NOTE: Make sure that the connectors and harness
are not pinched, or interfere with the steering wheel
movement.

45. Unplug the vehicle 5-pin connector from the ignition
switch, and plug the engine starter harness 5-pin
connector into the ignition switch.

46. Using scissors, cut a piece of urethane tape to as
shown. Wrap the cut urethane tape around the
engine starter harness 5-pin connector.
47. Plug the engine starter harness 5-pin connector into
the vehicle 5-pin connector.
NOTE: Make sure the engine starter harness 5-pin
connector is securely connected to the ignition
switch. A loose connection can cause the engine to
stall.
