Throttle Sensor Removal and Installation
Do not remove the throttle sensor [A] because the
sensor's mounting position must be adjusted once
it is removed.

Throttle Sensor Inspection
•Remove the fuel tank (see Fuel System chapter).
• Use a suitable hose to connect the fuel tank and the car-

•Turn the ignition switch OFF.
• Disconnect the throttle sensor connector and connect the
adapter between the connectors.
Special Tool - Throttle Sensor Setting Adapter:
•Measure the throttle sensor's input voltage.
OConnect the hand tester to the adapter.

4.9 - 5.1 V
•If the input voltage is out of standard, inspect the IC ig-

•Start the engine.
•Measure the sensor's output voltage at idle speed.
