OPERATION Before First Use After unpacking the device you should clean the heating plates (see below for further instructions) .The first heating process should take place without any foodstuffs, let it heat for about ten minutes. There may be a small amount of smoke and/or odour that is caused by production residues and is harmless. - Page 5 MAINTENANCE Regular maintenance of your appliance will keep it safe and in proper operational order. Before Cleaning When not in use or before cleaning, always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply. ALWAYS ENSURE THE APPLIANCE HAS COOLED COMPLETELY BEFORE CLEANING. Cleaning Regularly clean the outside of the appliance with a soft damp cloth and dry it with a dry towel.
