Printing does not start.
Cause 1 Output tray is full of paper during the print job. (When Inner 2 Way Tray-E2 is set
up, the selected tray is full of paper.)
Remedy Remove the paper in the tray.
Cause 2 The machine and host computer are not properly connected.
Remedy Check the cable connection between the host computer and the machine. (See
Chapter 1, "Before You Start Using This Machine," in the User's Guide.)
Cause 3 A failure occurred in the machine or an optional device.
Remedy Take appropriate measures according to the message on the LCD display.
Cause 4 The paper size set in the drawer is different from the paper size you have set up
in the application software. Or an appropriate paper size you have set for
enlarging or reducing the copy is not set.
Remedy 1 Change the paper in the selected drawer to the paper size you have set in the
application software (or to the size you have set for enlarging/reducing copy).
Then print it again.
Remedy 2 Select the drawer with the appropriate paper size you have set up in the
application software (or to the size you have set for enlarging/reducing copy).
Then print it again.
Cause 5 Paper in the drawer or the stack bypass has run out.
Remedy Load more paper.
The machine does not work.
Cause There is a problem with the machine or the software.
Remedy Look at the message on the LCD display and act accordingly.
You cannot print a job or store a job.
Cause The total number of pages in all jobs has exceeded the limit which can be
processed.
Remedy 1 Delete other processes, cancel other jobs being processed, or wait until those
jobs are finished, then print again.
Remedy 2 Divide the job, then print again.
