• Remove the thrust washer
assembly
• Remove the spacer and thrust washer
• Remove the círclíp
• Remove the pin
• Remove the oil pump
A CAUTION
Do not attempt to disassemble the oil pump as-
sembly.
• Remove the gearshift shaft
• Remove the pawl lifter and cam guide by removing
the screws.
• Remove the gearshift cam driven gear
NOTE:
When removing the cam driven gear
pawls
• Remove the gearshift shaft stopper
