DESCRIPTION

Offered as a companion enclosure
for the Classic 30, the Classic 112E is a
closed-back cabinet with a
Sheffield 1230 speaker. The 112E's
with any of the Classic 5Os, Classic
Each enclosure has a detachable
back section, the removal of which
obtain maximum low-end response and
cabinet-induced tone coloration, the
back should remain intact.
One particularly good application for
this enclosure is in a situation where the
room is too small to accommodate two
(or four) twelve-inch speakers. In such
an environment, the Classic 112E
produces a high-volume tone at lower
volumes (with cone distortion), because
twice as much power is delivered to one
twelve-inch speaker, as opposed to
dividing the signal between two twelves.
