Installing the switch in a 19-inch rack

The switch can be installed in a standard 19-inch rack. Installation falls into one of the following
scenarios:
• Installing the switch with front and rear mounting brackets.
Installing the switch with front mounting brackets and a rack shelf.
•
Installing the switch with front mounting brackets and slide rails.
•
NOTE:
The front mounting brackets can be used only for securing the switch, rather than bearing weight.
•
You can install the mounting brackets to the two sides of the front panel or rear panel. This section
•
installs the mounting brackets to the two sides of the front panel.
