7.4 RS-232 C interface parameters
Input: By selecting in the "Interface" display under "baud rate" with
the selection key
300 Baud
600 Baud
1200 Baud
2400 Baud
4800 Baud
9600 Baud (default)
19200 Baud
:
Number of data bits for asynchronous transmission.
Input: By selecting in the "Interface" display under "Data bits"
7 data bits
8 data bits (default)
Parity bits are used to detect errors:
The parity bits are added to the coded characters to make the number
of places set to "1" an odd number (odd parity) or an even number
(even parity).
Input: Selected in the "Interface" display under "Parity"
No parity (= default)
Even parity
Odd parity
Number of stop bits for asynchronous transmission.
Input: Selected in the "Interface" display under "Stop bits"
1 Stop bit (= default)
2 Stop bits
The following special functions are also provided. These can be
activated in the "Interface" display.
A checkbox with a cross in it means: special function active.
Overwrite with confirmation only

Inactive:
Services Operating Area
On reading in, a check is made to determine
whether the file in the NC already exists.
Existing files are overwritten without query.
