11.4 DHCP Server Setup Windows Server

SV9100 Networking Manual
This section provides instructions for defining vendor classes and setting
Defining Vendor Classes
1.
In the DHCP server highlight the server machine on the left side. Right click
on the server and select Define Vendor Classes.
2.
Click ADD.
3.
Display Name = NECDT800/DT700
4.
Description = auto config
5.
In the same window there is a section that shows ID, Binary, and ASCII.
Click under ASCII.
6.
Enter NECDT800/DT700. This should have also added 4E 45 43 44 54 37
30 30 under the binary section.
7.
Click OK and close.
Setting Predefined Options
1.
Highlight the server again. Then right click and select Set Predefined
Options.
2.
Change the option class to NECDT800/DT700.
3.
Click ADD, and provide the following information:
Name = FTP Address
Data Type = IP address
Code = 141
Click OK, and start the process over again.
4.
Click ADD, and provide the following information:
Name = Auto Config File Name
Data Type = String
Code = 151
5.
Click on ADD, and give the following information:
Name = Download Protocol
Data Type = Byte
Code = 163
6.
Click OK.
