7. Remove the two screws that secure the side I/O bracket, and then remove it from the chassis.

8. Align the two screw holes in the new side I/O bracket with the corresponding holes in the chassis. Then,
install the two screws to secure the side I/O bracket.
9. Reinstall the system board. See "Replacing the system board" on page 105.
10. Reinstall the heat sink. See "Replacing the heat sink" on page 100.
11. Reinstall the system board shield. See "Replacing the system board shield" on page 100.
12. Reinstall the VESA mount bracket. See "Replacing the VESA mount bracket" on page 98.

Replacing the LCD panel

Attention: Do not open your computer or attempt any repair before reading and understanding the Chapter

To replace the system board, do the following:
1. Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer. Then,
disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the
computer.
2. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 88.
3. Remove the feet. See "Replacing the feet" on page 89.
4. Remove the storage drive. See "Replacing the storage drive" on page 90.
5. Remove the internal speakers. See "Replacing the internal speakers" on page 91.
