RAID Drive Server DC 9V CONSOLE Desktop PC 2.0 Choose a configuration method and log in There are three methods to configure the Model 2160: serial console, Telnet and Web Browser. You must choose one method to configure the Model 2160. 2.1 Web configuration Make sure that an Ethernet Adapter has been installed in the PC or NB you will use to configure the modem.
2.2 Serial console configuration For configuring the Model 2160 through the serial console, connect a terminal or a PC equipped with a terminal- emulation program (such as Hyper Terminal) to the Model 2160's console port. Use the supplied serial cable (RJ-45 to DB9F) to connect the Model 2160 to a PC. After marking the connection, configure the terminal-emulation program using the following parameters: 9600 bps , 8 data bits , no parity and 1 stop bit.
