Troubleshooting

Symptom
Cannot turn the
power ON.
Cannot make a call.
Cannot receive calls.
The battery runs out in
a short time.
Keys do not respond.
The power is turned off
after an alarm sounds.
Calls are answered
automatically.
Cannot hear the other
party's voice.

Is the battery pack
charged?
Did you press F for
more than one second?

screen?

Do you use "Hello
Messenger" or "au
Music Player" for a long
time?
Is the power turned ON?
The battery pack level
is low.
Is Answer Phone ON?
Is the receiver volume
setting high enough?
Solution
Charge the battery pack.
Press F for more than one second.
Try making the call again at the place
where does not appear on the screen.
If you are making a call to a phone other
than a cellphone, include the area code,
even when calling from the same city.
Press F for more than one second.
Press N after entering the phone
number.
Move to a place where
appear on the screen.
Press F for more than one second.

EZ apps (BREW ) may consume the
large amount of the battery. Please
be forewarned that "Hello Messenger"
or "au Music Player" also requires the
large amount of the battery.
Press F for more than one second.
Charge the battery pack.
Press m for more than one second
to turn the Answer Phone OFF.
Press u while talking. The volume of
the other party is increased.
