Symbology Settings

The Symbology Settings specify how bar codes are decoded during scanning. Symbologies with a check mark to the
right are enabled. To enable or disable a symbology, touch the check box. Select a symbology name from the list to
access configuration parameters specific to the symbology type. Swipe up or down to scroll up or down the list of
available symbologies.
Check the box to
enable a symbology.
Decode Settings
Use the Center Decode setting when bar codes are densely packed and you want to limit the scan field for decoding.
When enabled (box is checked), bar codes are decoded only if they are within the centering window specified. By
selecting "Center Decode" on the Decode Settings screen, you can adjust the top, bottom, left and right boundaries of
the window on a scale of 0 to 100. Although you can adjust the window dimensions, Honeywell recommends leaving
the settings at 50 to define the "center" area for the bar code.
