12. Remove the power supply plug from the
mains socket after use. This is the only
way to ensure that the appliance is
completely de-energized.
NOTE: the first crêpes you make should be
thrown away, not eaten, as they will not
taste right.

7. Cleaning

Clean the device prior to its first use!
DANGER! Risk of electric
shock!
Pull the mains plug out of the wall socket
before you clean the device.
DANGER! Risk of injury
through burning!
Allow all the parts to cool down before
cleaning.
WARNING! Risk of material damage!
Do not use any astringent or abrasive
cleaning agents.
• Clean the device after each use and re-
move all food residues.
1. Wipe the bottom section 2 with a soft,
damp cloth. You can also use a little
mild detergent, but if doing so, take
care to wipe the appliance again after-
wards with clean water to avoid any
aftertaste affecting the flavour of the
crêpes.
2. Wipe dry with a dry cloth.
3. The baking plate 1, batter spreader 8
and crêpe flipper 7 can be cleaned in
the sink using mild detergent solution.
NOTE: the baking plate 1 is dishwasher-
friendly.
4. Do not use the appliance again until all
components have completely dried.

8. Storage

• Clean the device before putting it away
and allow all parts to dry completely.
• Figure A: to store the appliance, wind
up the mains cable 6 on the reel 9 on
the bottom.
• Store the device in a dry place.
9. Recipe suggestions
for crêpes
9.1

Basic recipe

Ingredients for about 12 crêpes:
• 6 eggs
• 1 l milk
• 500 g flour
• 3 tbsp. cooking oil
Preparation:
1. Beat the milk and eggs together in a
bowl.
2. Gradually add the flour.
3. Gradually add the oil.
4. Mix the batter until smooth.
5. Leave the batter to stand for about 1 hour
before making the crêpes.
Tip: Add the toppings of your choice to the
crêpes, e.g. sugar, cinnamon, apple sauce,
cheese, ham, chocolate cream, Amaretto,
eggnog, hot cherries etc.
