- Page 8 3.3 Light measurement ● The ECO-IR presence detector is designed for use with fluorescent lamps. It is particularly suitable for switching electronic ballasts. Incande- scent or halogen lamps may interfere with the operation of the detector. ● With indirect lighting, ensure that the light from these lamps is not direc- ted at the detector, as this would affect the daylight measurement.

5. Start-up procedure 5.1 Remote Parameter Setting Via ETS All settings are made via the ETS (see „KNX/EIB Product Database - Outli- ne“). They can be changed at any time. 5.2 Local Settings The local settings of the potentiometers and DIP-switches are only active, if they are enabled on the ETS. - Page 11 Potentiometer: ● Default setting of potentiometer is in middle position. 5.3 „Run“ mode (default setting) In „run“ mode the detector runs through three phases, which are displayed by a LED behind the sensor lens, whenever it is plugged in: 1. Start-up phase (90 sec.) 2.

Service phase - LED on when dark, LED off when alight In the service phase the detector has an immediate reaction to brightness change in order to quickly check the set daylight switching level (Lux). ● If the room is dimmed (e.g. by closing blinds), the lighting switches on when it reaches the switching level (LED on).
