appear in the image. The optical properties of some lenses may cause the periphery of
the image to appear too dark (insufficient light). You may compensate for this
phenomenon with [Shading Comp.].
[335] Troubleshooting
The color tones of the image displayed on the
monitor/the viewfinder look unnatural.
[Gamma Disp. Assist] has been activated. Set [Gamma Disp. Assist] to [Off].
[Gamma Disp. Assist] is not working properly. The [Picture Profile] settings are cancelled
when you select other than [Off] for [Picture Effect] or when you use [
Shooting], even if [Gamma] is set to [S-Log2] or [S-Log3]. Therefore, the color tones are
not displayed correctly when [Gamma Disp. Assist] is set to [Auto]. To display the color
tones properly, set [Gamma Disp. Assist] to [Off].
[336] Troubleshooting

The image is blurred.

Make sure that [SteadyShot] is set to [On].
The picture was taken in a dark location without the flash, resulting in camera-shake. The
use of a tripod or the flash is recommended. [Hand-held Twilight] and [Anti Motion Blur] in
[Scene Selection] are also effective in reducing blur.
[337] Troubleshooting
The monitor darkens after a short period of time passed.
If you do not operate the product for a certain period of time, the product switches to the
power-save mode. The product exits power-save mode when you perform operations
such as pressing the shutter button halfway.
