Troubleshooting Tips

Save time and money! Review the charts on the following pages
first and you may not need to call for service.
Problem
Sounds you might
hear
Water has air bubbles
and is cloudy
Amber "FILTER" light
on the faucet base
is flashing
Amber "RO" light
flashing. Note:
Disregard initial or
occasional short periods
of this flashing light.
Indicator lights on faucet
base not working
Possible Causes
Running water from
the unit to a drain.
Air in system after
installation.
Six months, or 900
gallons of product water
usage has occured. This
is the maximum life of
the prefilter and postfilter.
The Reverse Osmosis
membrane is no
longer removing the
required amount of
total dissolved solids.
Water supply to the
Reverse Osmosis
system not within
specifications.
Reverse Osmosis
membrane cartridge
expended.
Faucet base lead wire not
connected to electronic
box lead wire.
Battery pack not connected • Connect
to electronic box.
Batteries installed
incorrectly or expended.
Lead wires damaged.
What To Do
• This is normal.
• Will go away after it
runs for a while.
• Replace the prefilter,
postfilter, and batteries in
the electronic box.
• Replace the Reverse
Osmosis membrane
cartridge, flow
control and screen.
• Increase water pressure,
precondition the water,
etc., as needed to conform
before doing maintenance
on the Reverse Osmosis
system.
• Replace the Reverse
Osmosis membrane
cartridge, flow control,
screen, prefilter,
postfilter and batteries
in the electronic box.
• Connect
• Observe orientation
markings on the holder
and install correctly.
Replace batteries if old.
• Inspect and repair as
needed.
