Troubleshooting

Confirm the following problem and cause.
Should any problem persist, contact an Authorized Service Center.
Problem
Power does not turn on.
No picture appears.
The picture is fuzzy.
Color is pale or grayish.
No sound can be
heard from the internal
speaker.
The remote control does
not operate.
The control buttons
of the projector
do not operate.
The picture does not
display correctly.
Picture from a computer
does not appear.
The projector cannot be
controlled through serial
terminal.
Note
If the projector does not operate normally after the above remedies are taken, contact an Authorized Service Center.

The power cord may not be connected securely.
z
No electric supply at the wall outlet.
z
The circuit breakers have tripped.
z
TEMP or LAMP indicator is lit or flashes.
z
The lamp unit cover has not been securely installed.
z
The control buttons are

CONTROL PANEL in the PROJECTOR SETUP menu is invalidated.

The audio signal source may not be connected properly.

The input selection setting may not be correct.

The BRIGHTNESS adjustment setting may be at the minimum setting.

The volume adjustment may be at the lowest possible setting.

The batteries may be weak.

The batteries may not have been inserted correctly.

The remote control signal receptor on the projector may be obstructed.

The remote control unit may be out of the operation range.
