WARNING! Always handle the mains cable (4) by the plug and do not pull on the
mains cable (4) itself.
WARNING! Do not place the automatic bread maker, furniture or other heavy objects
on the mains cable (4) and ensure that it is not kinked.
WARNING! Never tie a knot in the mains cable (4) and do not tie cables together.
Place the mains cable (4) so that no one can trip over it and it does not cause an
obstruction.
WARNING! Do not use adapter plugs or extension cables that do not comply with
applicable safety standards, and do not make any alterations to the mains cable (4)! If
the mains cable (4) is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its customer
service representative or a similarly qualified person to prevent any safety hazards.

Prior to use

Remove the automatic bread maker from the packaging and remove the packaging material
completely. Check the automatic bread maker for signs of damage. If it is damaged, the automatic
bread maker must not be used.
Clean the housing of the automatic bread maker, the baking tin (7) and the dough hooks (6) with a
clean, damp cloth before using the device for the first time. Never use scouring agents or abrasive
sponges.

Initial start-up

DANGER! The temperature of the accessible surfaces may be very high when the
device is operating. There is a risk of burns!
When using the device for the first time, production-related residue may give rise to a
slight odour and minor smoke emission is also possible. This is normal and will fade after
a short time. Please ensure that there is sufficient ventilation. Open a window if
necessary.
