On backplane bus:
Meaning
Maximum time for one communica-
tion cycle between the CP 243-1 IT
and the S7-200 CPU via the back-
plane bus
Note:
Three cycle times are usually re-
quired per read/write job with client.
One cycle time with server. Long
execution times of the read/write jobs
must be expected with user pro-
grams which require an extreme
amount of time and simultaneous
communication with many channels.
Timeout for the successful transmis-
sion of CDB/NDB when CP boots
Time after which the booting S7 CPU
must have detected the CP 243-1 IT
physically
Maximum time until the configured e-
mail server must have accepted a
request for the establishment of a
connection
Maximum time until the configured
FTP server must have accepted a
request for the establishment of a
connection

Time after which an error or mes-
sage code is returned by the
ETHx_CTRL subprogram with the
