Both displays are of transflective active matrix type. This means display works as a reflective display (backlight
off) in bright light conditions and as a transmissive display (backlight on) in low light conditions.
Camera
Nokia RM-42 has one integrated swing axis digital camera supporting still image and video capture. Same
camera is also used for video calls.
