Menu Options for Settings Mode

By selecting Settings on the home screen from the control panel, you can make printer settings or perform printer
maintenance.

Menu Options for Ink Levels

Select the menus on the control panel as described below.
Settings > Ink Levels
Displays the approximate levels of the ink cartridges. When an ! icon is displayed, the ink cartridge is running low.
When a X mark is displayed, the ink cartridge is expended.

Menu Options for Maintenance

Select the menus on the control panel as described below.
Settings > Maintenance
Nozzle Check
Prints a pattern to check if the print head nozzles are clogged.
Head Cleaning
Cleans clogged nozzles in the print head.
Print Head Alignment
Adjusts the print head to improve print quality.
Run Vertical Alignment if your printouts look blurry or text and lines are misaligned.
Run Horizontal Alignment if your printouts contain horizontal banding at regular intervals.
Ink Cartridge(s) Replacement
Use this feature to replace the ink cartridges before the ink is expended.
