  • Page 27: General Guidelines For Media

It is possible that paper could meet all of the guidelines in this chapter or the HP LaserJet Printer Family Print Media Guide and still not print satisfactorily. This can result from abnormal characteristics of the printing environment or other variables over which HP has no control (for example, extremes in temperature and humidity).

  • Page 28: Paper That Can Damage The Device

    ● Do not use transparencies, labels, or photo or glossy paper designed for Inkjet printers or other low temperature printers. Use only media that is specified for use with HP LaserJet printers. ● Do not use any media that produces hazardous emissions, or that melts, offsets, or discolors when exposed to the temperature of the fuser.
