DRAM memory error
Each time you power-on the system, it performs a series of tests that
check the operation of the system and some options. This series of tests is
called the Power-On Self-Test, or POST. POST does the following operations.
•
Checks some basic system-board operations
•
Checks the memory operation
•
Starts the video operation
•
Verifies that the boot drive is working

FRU/Action
Perform the following actions in
order.
1. Make sure the monitor is properly
connected to the computer.
2. Replace the video adapter card (if
present).
3. Replace the system board.
Perform the following actions in
order.
1. Make sure the keyboard is
properly connected to the
keyboard connector.
2. Replace the keyboard.
3. Replace the system board.
Perform the following actions in
order.
1. Start the Setup Utility program
and press F7 to load defaults and
then press F10 to Save and exit.
