1-3-7. Optical Block

. Remove the upper case assembly. (Refer to Section 1-3-1.)
. Remove the rear panel. (Refer to Section 1-3-2.)
. Remove the main board. (Refer to Section 1-3-3.)
. Remove the G board. (Refer to Section 1-3-4.)
. Remove the lamp duct. (Refer to steps 1 and 2 in Section 1-3-5.)
. Remove the speaker. (Refer to Section 1-3-6.)
1 Loosen the two screws
(with stoppers).

2 Lamp connector assembly

When attaching, be sure to insert
the lamp assembly into the lamp
connector assembly.
When attaching the dial assembly:
VPL-EX100

4 Lens cap
Lens:
Rotate the focus/zoom gear
to the end in the counterclockwise
direction.
Rotate the dial assembly to the
end in the clockwise direction,
then install it.
7 Three screws
(BVTP3 x 10)
After the dial assembly is attached:
When rotate the dial assembly to the end in the
counterclockwise direction, check that the two gears of
the dial assembly are not engaged.
