Enabling NetStream on an interface

To do...
1.
Enter system view.
2.
Enter Layer 2 Ethernet
interface view or Layer 3
Ethernet interface view.
3.
Enable NetStream on the
interface.
NOTE:
NetStream can only be enabled on Layer 2 Ethernet interface or Layer 3 Ethernet interface.

Configuring NetStream filtering and sampling

Before you configure NetStream filtering and sampling, use the ip netstream command to enable
NetStream.

To do...
1.
Enter system view.
2.
Enter Layer 2 Ethernet interface
view or Layer 3 Ethernet
interface view.
3.
Enable ACL-based NetStream
filtering in the inbound or
outbound direction of an
interface.
NOTE:
When NetStream filtering and sampling are both configured, packets are filtered first and then the
matching packets are sampled.
An ACL must be created before being referenced by NetStream filtering. An ACL that is referenced by
NetStream filtering cannot be deleted or modified. For more information about ACLs, see
QoS Configuration Guide
Configuring QoS-based NetStream filtering
Use the netstream filter command to configure a NetStream filtering action for a traffic behavior by
specifying the following keywords:
