6.3 Wireless Country Approvals

Regulatory markings are applied to the device signifying the radio(s) are approved for use in the following
countries: United States, Canada, Australia, and Europe.

Note 1: For 2.4 GHz Products: Europe includes, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark,

Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden,
Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

6.4 Health and Safety Recommendations

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) with its action in ET Docket 96-8 has adopted a safety standard
for human exposure to radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic energy emitted by FCC certified equipment. Motorola
Solutions products meet the uncontrolled environmental limits found in OET-65 and ANSI C95.1, 1991. Proper
operation of this radio according to the instructions found in this manual will result in user exposure that is
substantially below the FCC recommended limits.
