Reverse the procedure to install the base enclosure.
Battery
Description
Battery (3-cell, 45-WHr, 3.95-AH, Li-ion; includes cable)
Before removing the battery, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4.
Remove the two computer feet and base enclosure (see

1.
Disconnect the battery cable (1) from the computer.
2.
Remove the two screws (2) that secure the battery to the system board.
3.
Remove the battery (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the battery.
