Chapter 6: Analyzer Operation

Setting the Clock

Set the Analyzer clock to ensure that all TOC measurements reflect the correct date and time.
To set the clock
1.
Select the Maintenance tab.
2.
Press the Advanced button. The Advanced screen appears.
3.
Press the Clock button, and using the keypad that appears specify the correct date and time.
4.
Press the Save button.

Upgrade Option

You will use the Upgrade button on the Advanced screen when you install firmware upgrades. For complete
instructions, please refer to the instruction sheet shipped with the firmware USB key.
If you downloaded the upgrade files from the GE website, make sure that the files are saved in the proper folders
on your USB key (:\InnovOx\Upgrade). After you install your USB key in the USB port, wait 15 seconds and then
select the Upgrade button. This process may take several minutes.

Gas Valve PID Parameters

The InnovOx Analyzer contains Gas Valve parameters that have been previously set at the factory using the
default setting of PID Set 2. In the case where an instrument is upgraded in the field from firmware versions
≤3.06 to versions
3.07, the Gas Valve PID parameter may need to be changed. The determining factor is the
style of gas manifold installed in the instrument. Using
and set the corresponding Gas Valve PID setting using the following instructions.
To configure gas flow PID option settings
1.
Using
Figure
68, identify the type of gas manifold installed in the Analyzer.
2.
Select the Maintenance tab.
3.
Press the Advanced button. The Advanced screen appears.
4.
Locate and verify which PID option is currently active by identifying whether "PID Set 1" or "PID Set 2"
appears on the Gas Valve PID button.
5.
To change the PID setting, press the Gas Valve PID button. The PID Set 1 and PID Set 2 buttons
appear.
