Overview

The HP Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 560SFP+ Adapter is a dual-port, 10 Gb SFP+ adapter that supports Gen7 and
Gen8 ML/DL/SL ProLiant servers and uses the Intel 82599 (Niantic) chipset.

LEDs

The HP Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 560SFP+ Adapter has two ports with LEDs for Link (L) and Activity (A) for each
port. A standard-height bracket is shown in the following illustration with SFP+ ports and LEDs.
The HP Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 560SFP+ Adapter LEDs operate as described in the following table.

Status Description
Off No link to the adapter is established. The adapter is not
receiving power or the cable connection is faulty.
On (Amber) Link to the adapter is established at 10 Gb/s. The
adapter is receiving power and the cable connection is
good.
On (Green) Link to the adapter is established at 1 Gb/s. The
adapter is receiving power and the cable connection is
good.
Off Indicates no network activity on the link.
On (Green) Indicates network activity on the link. The adapter is
sending or receiving network data at up to 10 Gb/s.
