■ Audio Setting

The default settings are marked with "
CD Mode
HDMI
You can select whether to restrict HDMI output during the
CD mode (p. 23).
Off
Disables all the HDMI circuitries during the CD mode.
Audio Only* Disables HDMI video output (the black screen is
displayed) and outputs audio only from the HDMI jack
during the CD mode.
Audio Output
Coaxial / Optical
You can select the output mode of COAXIAL jack and
OPTICAL terminal. For more details on output formats,
refer to "Audio output formats" (p. 41).
Bitstream
Outputs digital signal without any processing.
Secondary Audio is not output.
PCM
Outputs 2-channel PCM.

Outputs Bitstream with Secondary Audio.
Reencode
Off
Mutes sound.
HDMI
You can select the output mode of HDMI terminal. For
details on setting items, see "Coaxial / Optical" (p. 39). For
more details on output formats, refer to "Audio output
formats" (p. 41).

Output Method
You can select the audio output format and output jacks
used for playing back SA-CDs and DSD files.

multi-channel content when the SA-CD contains the both
types of contents.
