Overview
The 8100fl switch performs as a full wire-speed Layer 2, Layer 3, and Layer 4
switching router, and is capable of displaying performance information at
each layer. As packets enter the switch, Layer 2, 3, and 4 flow tables are
populated on each interface module. The flow tables contain information on
performance statistics and traffic forwarding.
This chapter discusses the following topics dealing with monitoring perfor
mance and traffic on the switch:
■
Show commands
Debug commands
■
■
Clear commands
■
Logging Messages
Port Mirroring
■
■
Rate-Limiting (2-port X2 Module only)
