setting of the DIP switches 3 and 4 on the control board.

Setting the water hardness
The setting of the liquid softener dosing is done in accord-
ance with the local water hardness (ask your local water
supply company or determine by means of a hardness
tester).

Service position
In the "Service" position the settings of the device can be ed-
ited by means of the service switch and the control panel.
From the "Service" position, the service switch can be
turned a little further to the "SET" position. From this posi-
tion, the switch returns to the "Service" position after re-
leasing it. The "SET" position merely fulfils a pushbutton
function.
