Replacing the keyboard

Procedure

1 Align the screw holes on the keyboard with the screw holes on the palm-
rest assembly.
2 Slide the keyboard cable and the keyboard-backlight cable into their
respective connectors on the keyboard daughter-board and close the
latches to secure the cables.
3 Replace the screws that secure the keyboard to the palm-rest assembly.
4 Align the screw holes on the keyboard bracket with the screw holes on
the palm-rest assembly.
5 Replace the screws that secure the keyboard bracket to the palm-rest
assembly.
6 Adhere the tapes that secure the keyboard bracket to the palm-rest
assembly.
