Removing the operator information panel assembly

Use this information to remove the operator information panel assembly.
To remove the operator information panel, complete the following steps.
Step 1.
Read the safety information that begins on "Safety" on page v and "Installation guidelines"
on page 31.
Step 2.
Turn off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect the power cords and all external cables,
if necessary.
Step 3.
Remove the cover (see "Removing the cover" on page 189).
Step 4.
Disconnect the cable from the back of the operator information panel assembly.
Step 5.
Pull up the blue points slightly on the rear of the panel toward the front of the server.

Step 6.
From the front of the server, carefully pull the assembly out of the server while you move it slightly
from side to side.
If you are instructed to return the operator information panel assembly, follow all packaging instructions,
and use any packaging materials for shipping that are supplied to you.

Replacing the operator information panel assembly

Use this information to replace the operator information panel assembly.
To install the operator information panel, complete the following steps.
Step 1.
Read the safety information that begins on "Safety" on page v and "Installation guidelines"
on page 31.
Step 2.
Turn off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect the power cords and all external cables,
if necessary.
Step 3.
Remove the cover (see "Removing the cover" on page 189).
Step 4.
From the front of the server, slide the operator information panel into the server until it clicks
into place.
