    Setting the unit before Important: L To programme features by scrolling through the display menus, see page 33. Date and time Set the correct date and time. When you play back a message from the answering system (page 40), the unit announces the day and time it was recorded.

    Making/Answering Calls Making calls While one line is in use, you can make or answer a call using the other line. Using the handset Lift the handset and dial the phone number. L To correct a digit, press {CLEAR}. Press {C}. L An available line is automatically selected and the line number is displayed.

    Useful Information Wall mounting Tuck the telephone line cord inside the wall-mounting adaptor (A). Connect the AC adaptor and telephone line cord to the base unit (B). Insert the hooks on the wall-mounting adaptor into the holes (1) and (2) on the base unit.
