CALL CHANNEL MEMORY (SIMPLEX)

The CALL channel can be used to store any frequency
and related data that you will recall often. You may want to
dedicate the CALL channel as an emergency channel within
your group.
1 Select the frequency, mode, etc.
2 Press [F], [CALL].
Note:
◆ Storing new data in the CALL channel will clear the old data.
(The CALL channel itself cannot be cleared, but data can be
replaced with new data.)

CALL CHANNEL MEMORY (ODD-SPLIT)

The CALL channel can be used to store any frequency
and related data that you will recall often. You may want to
dedicate the CALL channel as an emergency channel within
your group.
1 Register the RX frequency.
A split channel can be registered only to an already
registered memory channel.
2 Display the TX frequency.
4 Press [F]
5 Press [CALL] while pressing [PTT].
Note:
◆ You cannot set the transmission and reception frequencies on
different bands.
◆ You cannot set a different frequency step size for the
transmission and reception frequencies.
◆ You cannot store the transmit offset status and Reverse status
in an odd-split CALL channel.

CALL CHANNEL LIST

Select a CALL channel from the menu. The selected channel
can also be edited.
1 Access Menu No. 204.
The CALL channel list appears.
2 Select a CALL channel.
3 Press [ENT].
The CALL channel is accessed.
Switching Memory Name Display
Each press [A/B] switches between frequency and memory
name display.
Editing a CALL Channel Name
You can name CALL channel using up to 8 characters.
1 Access Menu No. 204.
2 Select your desired CALL channel and press [MODE].
The Property menu appears.
3 Edit the CALL channel name.

MEMORY GROUP

You can divide the 1000 memory channels into a group of 30,
and control them.
Switching Memory Group
1 Press [MR] to enter Memory Recall mode.
2 Press and hold [
]/[ ] to select your desired Memory
group ([ ]: increases Memory group number / [
decrease Memory group number). The group name is
displayed for about 2 seconds in memory name display
area.
Note:
◆ A Memory group in which memory channel has not been set is
skipped.
◆ You can switch the memory group to All Groups or each 30
group.
Clearing on a Memory Group Basis
Clear memory channels you no longer use on a memory
group basis.
1 Access Menu No. 200.
The memory channel list appears.
2 Press [MENU].
The memory channel list menu appears.
