    RADIO OPERATION Set the FUNCTION switch to RADIO position Select the FM or FM STEREO by BAND SELECTOR switch. Turn the TUNING knob to select the required station. The FM stereo LED indicator will light on when a stereo broadcast is being received Fully extend the FM antenna and adjust its direction for best FM reception.
  • Page 6 Auto Stop When the tape reaches the end in playback or recording, the built-in auto stop system will release the depressed CASSETTE PLAY, RECORD button. The auto stop system operates while recording from the built-in RADIO or CD player, only the cassette function will stop automatically and the RADIO or CD player will continue to play.
  • Page 7 LISTENING TO COMPACT DISC (CD) If a Compact Disc Player is subject to sudden vibration while playing, it may skip or mistrack. It is therefore preferable to use the player on a flat level and stable surface. Playing a compact disc Press the POWER button to switch on the set.
