Logging out at the Device

Authentication is used to manage access to the device or specific features. Accounting is used to
record numbers of prints or scans produced at the device. If authentication or accounting is
enabled you will need to log into the device.
Note:
This option must be made available by your System Administrator.
Use the Logout feature if your System Administrator has enabled Authentication (Login Method)
or Accounting features on your device and you logged in to the device to access services. Logging
out is important to stop other users using the services with your account information.
Refer to the System Administrator Guide for further information.
1. Select the User Details button on the right hand side of the screen.
2. Select the Logout button.
3. At the confirmation screen, select the Logout button.

Accessing the Tools Menu

You can use the Tools menu to adjust the brightness of the Control Panel display, change the billing
impression mode or enable an optional feature on your device.
Refer to the System Administrator Guide for further information.
1. Press the Machine Status button on the Control Panel.
2. Select the Tools tab on the touch screen.
3. Select the option(s) required.
