To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist
grounding strap or by periodically touching a connector on the back panel of the
computer.

Removing the ExpressCard Reader

1 Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin" on page 9.
2 Remove any installed ExpressCards from the ExpressCard slot.
3 Remove the display assembly (see "Removing the Display Assembly" on
page 63).
4 Remove the palm rest (see "Removing the Palm Rest" on page 75).
5 Remove the three M2 x 3-mm screws that secure the ExpressCard reader
to the computer base.
