It is possible to store these types of chords:

If you try to store a chord not shown above, it
will be converted to the storable chord which
sounds the closest.

1. Confirm that the ACCOMP1/CHORD indicator
is lit.

is not lit, press the AC-
COMP1/CHORD button to turn it on.

matic playback.

the stored chord progression is played.
Storingrhythmchanges
In addition to chord progressions, you can also
store changes in the rhythm by using the STEP
CHORD REC function.
. Storing the beginning panel settings
If you wish to have the panel settings for the
beginning of the tune stored, select the beginning
sounds, rhythm and other panel settings BEFORE
starting the recording procedure.
. Storingan intra
To store a drums-only intro, first turn on the STEP
CHORD REC button, then turn on the INTRO &
ENDING button.

To store an intro played as part of the accom-
paniment pattern, first turn on the STEP
CHORD REC button, then, while pressing the
keys for a chord, turn on the INTRO & ENDING
button.
. Storing the count
If you wish to store the count, first turn on the
STEP CHORD REC button, then turn on the
COUNT & FILL IN button.
. Storing a rhythm change In the middle of
the tune
1. Store the chord progression up to the point
where the rhythm changes.
2. Select a different rhythm.

A "beep" will sound to indicate that the change
has been stored.
3. Continue storing the chord progression.
