    Please keep the original shipping box. In the unlikely event you should need to ship the telescope back to Orion for war- ranty repair service, you should use the original packaging.

    Unless you know how to recognize the constellation Orion, for instance, you won’t have much luck locating the Orion Nebula. A simple planisphere, or star wheel, can be a valuable tool for learning the constellations and seeing which ones are vis- ible in the sky on a given night.

    The carrying case will hold the ShortTube 80-T safely during transport and doubles as a convenient storage spot when the telescope is not in use. You will need to remove acces- sories such as the eyepiece, diagonal, and finder scope in order to place the telescope into the case.
