Microprocessor Systems
And Logic Analyzer
Hewlett-Packard's preprocessor
interface modules provide quick and
convenient interface between eight-bit
or 16-bit microprocessor systems and
HP 1630A/D/G and HP 1631A/D
logic analyzers. Interface modules are
installed in an HP 10269B
general-purpose probe interface . A
low-profile dual-in-line or leadless chip
carrier probe provides simple hook-up
to specific microprocessors . The target
microprocessor is then inserted into
the probe's socket. With this
interconnection, the user can
immediately access the measurement
power of an HP 1630A/D/G or
HP 1631A/D logic analyzer for efficient
and effective debugging, troubleshooting,
and code optimization .

when necessary
" Inverse assembly of microprocessor
instruction sets
" Dequeueing when necessary
Inverse Assembly
Inverse assembly software translates
the microprocessor instruction set to
mnemonic form for display, and
configures the analyzer format for each
microprocessor . The inverse assembler is
loaded from a 3-1/2 inch disc into the
logic analyzer . The 3-1/2 inch disc is
compatible with the HP 9121 S/D and
HP 9122S/D disc drives .
Custom Design Interfaces
With User-definable
Interface Module
For custom interfaces, the HP 10320A
user-definable interface module
provides a wire-wrapped printed-circuit
board, wire-wrap pins, cable
connectors, and a design manual.
For convenience, the HP 10321A can
be ordered with the HP 10320A . The
HP 10321A includes additional chip
sockets, wire-wrapping pins, and an
assortment of passive components .
When using the HP 10320A and
HP 10321A, state (synchronous)
clocking up to 25 MHz is available .
Maximum power from the
HP 1630A/D/G or HP 1631A/D is
volts at 1 amp . The design manual
provided with the HP 10320A discusses
the target system and its relationship to
the interface module .
