Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the grounding pin, part of the 3-prong plug. Warranty Oreck Corporation warrants the DriSteem™ Canister Vapor Cleaner free from defects in material and workmanship under normal, non-commercial use and service. Oreck will remedy any such defects if they appear within one (1) year from date of purchase. - Page 4 DriSteem Canister Vapor Cleaner Assembly ™ Features: 1.Power “On” Light (Red): This light will illuminate when the unit is plugged into the wall and the “On/Off” switch is depressed . 2.Temperature Ready Light (Green): When this light is “On”, it indicates that the steam is ready to use.
- Page 5 Attaching the Shoulder Strap To attach the shoulder strap to the Vapor Cleaner, simply snap the Shoulder Strap hooks onto the connecting rings on the body. Using the Cordwraps Starting Your DriSteem WARNING: The machine should never be plugged in during initial filling or refilling.
- Page 6 WARNING: You must always inspect your Pistol Grip prior to each use to ensure both O-Ring seals are present (see figure right). Do not operate if both O-Rings are not present. If you attempt to operate the unit without the O-Rings, there is a risk steam will escape between the Pistol Grip and the attachment that may cause scalding.

- Page 8 How to fit the Towel Over the Rectangular Brush The Oreck 100% White Terry Cloth Towel can be fitted on this brush so as to absorb the dirt and protect delicate surfaces. It can also be used on vertical washable surfaces following the same procedure as for the floor.

- Page 13 Upholstery: Use the Rectangular Floor/Carpet Brush with a clean White Terry Cloth Towel. Use fast, light strokes, avoid getting the fabric wet. When cleaning silk, warm up the towel and then turn off the vapor entirely before touching the fabric. If the towel is too hot to touch with your hand, it is too hot for silk.
