The Volume Operation tree, on the left side of the Volume Operation window, contains the following:

Description
Changes the items displayed in the Volume Operation tree.
You can select Fibre as a PCB type.
The following items appear in tree format. The information
displayed in the list on the right changes corresponding to
the items clicked in this tree.
Subsystem: The root node of the Volume Operation tree
that is always displayed.
Product name of the external volume: The product name
of the external storage system whose volumes are
mapped by XP External Storage appears under
Subsystem. The display format is Vendor name:
Product name (Serial number).
Path group: The path group set in the external storage
system appears under the product name of the external
storage system. When multiple path groups are set, the
registration numbers are added after the Path Group
(For example, Path Group 2).
Right-click the item in the Volume Operation tree to perform
the operations from the pop-up menu. For details, see
Table 5 (page
47).

Volume Operation Window
Description
Displays the Configure
Cross-subsystem Paths dialog
box or the Add Volume
(Manual) dialog box. These
dialog boxes allow you to
set a new path group, and
add external volumes to the
new path group.
Displays the Edit Policy
dialog box. This dialog box
allows you to edit the
mapping policy.
Disconnects or reconnects
the external volumes in the
selected external storage
system.
Executed the volume
discovery. All external
volumes found by the volume
