2. How to upgrade Firmware

1. Uncompress the compressed file in any folder.
2. Run Setup.exe, and follow on-screen instructions to complete installation.
2-1 If the existing firmware updater is installed in your PC, overwrite the firmware
(bootmanager.sb.resource.bin.StmpSys.sb.UsbMsc.sb) in the "C:\Program Files\Samsung\YP-F1" folder.
3. Click on the YP-F1 Updater shortcut icon on the desktop.
4. Use a USB cable to connect YP-F1 to your PC.
5. Confirm the current version, and click the "Start" button of the firmware updater program.
5-1 If you select "Data Area Formatting," the data within YP-ST5 will be deleted during update.
Back up important data to your PC in advance.
If you do not select "Data Area Formatting," the data will be retained during update.
6. Firmware update is in progress.
7. Confirm the current firmware version.
8. Click the Close button.
