POWER TILT SWITCH
The rocker type power tilt switch has
UP and DN (down) positions for
changing the angle of the outboard
motor.
Power tilt is a convenience for
tilting the outboard motor, shallow
water operation, and trailering
only. It is not designed to be used
as a trim function to adjust the
trim angle of the boat.
During shallow water operation,
beaching, launching, or mooring,
proceed at low speed with a small
throttle opening and tilt the outboard
motor up as necessary (p.
