Select an Operating Mode
Slide the mode switch on the right side of your phone to your preferred mode.
• HS: Use the SA-40 as a handset.
• T: Couple with your T-Coil Hearing Aid to hear through your hearing aid.
• SPKR: Use as a speakerphone, for hands-free conversation.
Please note:
• The SA-40 amplifies your caller's voice up to 100 times louder
than your cell phone. Use care when setting phone volume to
avoid damage to your hearing.
• The SA-40 should always be set to (HS) mode when handset is
pressed to the ear.
Do not press the SA-40 to your ear if in SPKR Mode.
• Some cellphones may produce more noise than others. This
noise is also a function of the strength of the cell phone signal,
which can vary from place to place.
