Activate HDMI pass through

Mr. Anderson

The Onkyo TX-SR604 supports HDMI 1.1 but does not have full HDMI pass-through for advanced formats like 3D. To enable HDMI pass-through for basic video and audio, follow these steps:

1. Press the ON/STANDBY button to turn on the receiver.
2. Press the SETUP button on the remote.
3. Navigate using the Up/Down buttons to select 0. Video Input.
4. Press ENTER to access the Video Input menu.
5. Select the appropriate HDMI input (e.g., IN1 or IN2) for the device connected.
6. Choose No if not using an HDMI output for that input.
7. Confirm the settings and exit the menu.

Note: The TX-SR604 supports HDMI audio processing but does not pass through advanced formats like 3D. If using a 3D source, connect it directly to the TV and use an optical or coaxial cable for audio to the receiver.
